Variety Club Stag Night 2024

Last night, Variety - The Children's Charity hosted their annual Stag Night at the picturesque Powder River Ranch in Cumming, IA. This was such a cool and fun event! It was filled with energy, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to supporting children in need.

Both live and silent auctions were held. The auction items, generously donated by various supporters and vendors, ranged from unique experiences, rare bottles of whiskey, guns, sports memobelia and gear and more. I have to say, the live auction was such a good time that I’m wondering now if being an auction photographer is a thing. Can we make it a thing? So much fun!

Obviously steak and potatoes were served at stag night. Duh… and there were plenty of drinks to go around.

Beyond the fun and festivities, the heart of the event was the incredible cause it supported. Variety - The Children's Charity is dedicated to improving the lives of children who are at risk or living with special needs. The funds raised during this Stag Night will go a long way in helping the charity continue its important work.

It can’t go withtout saying that the venue, The Powder River Ranch, provided a stunning backdrop for the evening. I’d love to go back and really explore the property. It is just beautiful! I would definitely not wear sandals next time though! Being the girly-girl that I am, dirt at a ranch did not even cross my mind. If you know me that would not suprise you at all. I won’t make that mistake again though!

In conclusion, the annual Stag Night at Powder River Ranch was a resounding success. The night was not just about entertainment but also about community, philanthropy, and making a difference in the lives of children. With great food, plenty of drinks, amazing vendors, and an atmosphere of fun and generosity, it was a night to remember for all who attended.
